The Summer 2026 release moves Zoho SalesIQ from a chatbot platform to an agentic AI system. Bots now reason across multiple data sources to answer customer questions, and URL based training keeps bot knowledge current as your website changes. Third party LLM connectors cover Claude and ChatGPT alongside Zia’s hosted models. Live sentiment tracking hands frustrated visitors to a human agent before friction turns into a lost lead.

Zoho rebuilt Zia for Zoho People as an agentic system on June 4, 2026. Zia now executes multi-step HR tasks like filing leave requests from uploaded medical certificates, surfacing attrition signals from absenteeism and login patterns, and returning skills search results in natural language. Available inside Zoho People web, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and mobile. BYOK lets you point Zia at Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini alongside Zoho’s hosted LLM.

Zoho Creator’s new Databridge lets Creator applications read and write to privately hosted databases without exposing internal infrastructure. A lightweight agent installs on a machine inside your network and creates an outbound connection to Creator. No inbound firewall rules required. Launch connectors include MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, and Actian Zen. Regulated workloads that previously forced a custom build now run natively on Creator.

Zoho Bigin received a fresh batch of AI features and Zia agents that bring agentic multi-step automation to the small business CRM. Workflow rules now support product record creation, mass email that sends individual copies to multiple recipients, merge fields inside field update actions, rule reordering with search, and a live count of automated emails. Apple users on iPhone and Mac also get global search across all records from a single bar.

The June release of Zoho ERP adds Layout Rules for Custom Modules, Annexure Attachments in PDF Templates, Location Based Price Lists, and Unit Groups for Units of Measurement. The Beat mobile app for distribution and field sales also went live on iOS. The release rounds out the operational maturity of Zoho’s flagship mid-market ERP, narrowing the gap with Oracle NetSuite and SAP Business One on configuration depth.

Customer, contact, and product data now syncs both ways between Zoho CRM and QuickBooks Online. Invoices, estimates, and purchase orders flow from QuickBooks into CRM as read-only records. Sales teams can track payment status and trigger workflow rules based on financial events without leaving CRM.

Zoho CRM’s multi-LLM Zia previously supported only one LLM at a time inside the Record Assistant. The May 2026 update lets admins keep several LLMs configured and active simultaneously, with users switching between them via a dropdown inside the bot. The Execute Prompt custom button now works with every configured LLM, earlier limited to Zoho’s hosted model. Zoho renamed Smart Prompt to Models in the UI. Available on Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate, CRMPlus, and ZohoOne.

Zoho Books now automatically calculates sales tax on transactions for businesses in the US and Canada. The system applies the correct rate based on business location, customer address, product type, and applicable exemptions. Built into the existing workflow at no extra cost on paid plans. Avalara remains available for businesses with advanced compliance needs.

Zoho CRM now lets administrators deploy Zia Agents as digital employees with their own roles and permissions. Each agent operates within defined boundaries, executing tasks like record updates, follow-up scheduling, and data enrichment without human intervention. The feature is currently available on standalone CRM plans only, not bundled editions.

Zoho Projects now supports building multi-stage approval workflows using Custom Modules. Teams define approval stages, assign reviewers per stage, and track status changes with a full audit trail inside the project workspace. The approach replaces ad-hoc email and chat approvals with a structured process that enforces sequence, accountability, and visibility across project stakeholders.

Zoho FSM launched a Premium edition for organizations that have outgrown the standard plan. The release adds territory-based permissions so dispatchers control visibility by region, shift management for teams running multiple service windows, and skill-based assignment that routes work orders to technicians qualified for the job type. The edition targets field service operations with 20 or more technicians managing overlapping territories and shift patterns.

Zoho Cliq now connects directly to any MCP-compatible AI agent, including Claude, Cursor and Windsurf. That means your AI tools can send messages, schedule reminders, manage channels and run discussions inside your Zoho workspace through natural language commands, no clicks required. If your team is building AI-assisted workflows, this changes how Zoho fits into the stack.

Zoho Creator’s Developer Console now includes a Zia AI section that lets developers integrate external AI providers; OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, directly into custom business applications using a bring-your-own-key model. Zoho GenAI is included at no additional cost as the default. For businesses that have built custom workflows or portals on Creator, this means enterprise-grade AI can now be embedded into those apps without switching platforms or rebuilding from scratch.

Zoho FSM has launched Job Costing, which pulls technician timesheet hours, travel costs, and parts line items together to calculate total job cost and net profit directly inside each Work Order. For businesses running field operations โ maintenance, installations, repairs โ this means you no longer need a separate spreadsheet to know whether a job made or lost money. It also gives management the data needed to reprice services and identify where margins are being lost.

Zoho Analytics shipped Custom Visualizations and Drill Actions in its February 2026 release. Custom Visualizations lets teams go beyond the built-in chart library and bring in third-party JavaScript libraries or custom scripts for industry-specific diagrams, specialised plots, or non-standard visual formats. Drill Actions lets users open records, create entries, update information, or trigger workflows directly from a report without switching contexts. The same release added Databridge Sharing for collaborative data pipeline management and multiple import schedules for Elasticsearch, Data Lakes, and OData sources.

Zoho CRM introduced the Zia Formula Expression Generator as part of its Q1 2026 update. Instead of memorising function syntax, field API names, and bracket placement, users describe the formula they need in plain language and Zia builds the entire expression. Admins and ops staff can then review, tweak, and drop it into the formula field. It is aimed at every CRM team that has ever lost an hour chasing a missing parenthesis or the wrong field reference.

Zoho Books rolled out AI-powered bank reconciliation in February 2026. Earlier, transaction dates and amounts were prefilled but users still had to manually enter categories, accounts, and vendors. With AI Field Prediction, Books now auto-suggests these values based on past transaction behaviour, and falls back to bank statement context when historical data is thin. The release also added a running balance on bank statement transactions to help spot discrepancies faster, plus user-level bank account segmentation for tighter access control.

Zoho Books rolled out Corporation Tax and Final Accounts support for the UK edition in January 2026. Limited companies can now calculate corporation tax liability from existing transactions and generate Final Accounts plus the Corporation Tax return in the format required for submission to HMRC and Companies House. It is aimed at UK businesses that want year-end compliance handled inside the accounting platform rather than passed to external tax software.

Zoho Books added direct Form 1099 e-filing to the IRS in its January 2026 release for the US edition. When creating or editing a vendor, users can flag them with Track payments made to this vendor for filing Form 1099. Books then auto-tracks every payment, generates the 1099 from existing vendor and payment data, and lets users review reported amounts and federal/state categorisations before submitting electronically to the IRS.

Zoho CRM introduced a new structured address field type in January 2026. Instead of stitching together multiple text fields or relying on freeform entries, users now capture address data in a single field with proper structure underneath. The new field type rolled out first to Indian DC users on Professional edition, with broader DC rollouts continuing through March 2026.

Zoho Analytics extended Ask Zia with new actions in December 2025. Users running Zoho’s hosted LLM can now Export, Share, and Schedule reports directly through natural-language prompts, capabilities that were previously limited to OpenAI-backed setups. The release also added Multi-Table Auto Analysis on star-schema models, Live Connect for Databricks and ClickHouse, and an NPM-installable Analytics MCP server.

Zoho Books added Making Tax Digital for Income Tax support for UK sole traders in its November 2025 release. Users can keep digital records of business income and expenses, connect their organisation to HMRC, and see submission obligations and quarterly deadlines surfaced directly in Books. It is built for self-employed people with qualifying income who need to file every three months instead of once a year.
