About Client

Headquartered in Massachusetts, our client is an electronics & power equipment seller on both eBay and Amazon for cables, drive enclosures, adapters and crypto mining products. They had a steady slow of organic traffic & sales from their website and wanted to explore paid media advertising to generate more sale for their higher ticket value products.

The hurdle

Problem Statement

Despite being a recognizable name in the industry and having adequate organic sales from various search engines, the challenge was to build on its success by scaling their product sales from their native website. The client understood that there is still significant opportunity through paid search, and the major challenge was how to acquire new customers in a profitable way in an increasingly competitive niche.

While prospecting the paid media opportunities for the client, we discovered several issues on their native website, including:

• The product pages on the website were not mobile friendly.
There were some unnecessary elements in website’s core design which were hampering the page speed score and user experience.
• The checkout funnel was too long & complicated, hence contributing to high cart abandonment rates.
• The product images were uploaded in incorrect size and format.
• Proper analytics tracking was not implemented on the website pages.
