Rather than building from scratch, Clixlogix embedded a dedicated team, two developers, a project manager, and a technical lead, who worked in close collaboration with the client’s Ireland based team and VP of Product sitting on the East Coast, US.

The engagement focused on enhancing existing functionality, enabling 2,000+ dealers to onboard within weeks, and supporting 450,000+ unique listings. These improvements streamlined cataloging, billing, and customer management, reducing onboarding time by 90%. About the Client

Our client works with vendors of antiques and collectable artefacts across 8 countries and 10+ global marketplaces, covering everything from baseball cards to high end furniture and historic work. The client’s eCommerce Manager was created with the goal of solving the challenge of multiple marketplace platforms with a single upload system that keeps all sales up to date. They also launched a cloud based inventory and business management platform to help sellers document and manage their unique inventory from acquisition to sale through synchronized mobile and desktop applications. Sellers use the platform to photograph and document items in real time and manage their inventory 24/7 via email, text, or social media.

Business Challenge

The client’s digital marketplace was well populated, but a lot of the work related to catalog management was being manually done by the dealers. Most sellers on the platform had multiple single quantity items. As a result, they had to manually list each item, field by field, on multiple marketplaces and then track their inventory and marketplace listings manually as well.

The platform needed to:

  • Eliminate manual duplication in cataloging and sales processes.
  • Integrate product photography cleanup and enhancement without requiring external designers
  • Provide rapid onboarding for dealers with minimal technical knowledge.
  • Operate on a scalable architecture that minimizes custom coding to allow fast iteration and lower maintenance costs.
